Conducting Carrots! - Friday 23rd August 2019
Description : Can you help us make music with carrots? Or a game controller with playdoh? In this workshop, we'll be playing with an ingenious little device called Makey Makey that allows us to connect everyday items to a computer! BUT do they conduct enough electricity to allow us to make music? We'll be experimenting with lots of everyday items from fab fruits to funky furniture to see how well they conduct electricity. This workshop is aimed at children aged seven and up and is ideal for children at the KS2 level.
The fee is £10 per participant in this workshop. For every full-price participant, you can bring another for half price! For participants under the age of 14, we require an accompanying adult to attend the workshop alongside them. Accompanying adult tickets can be purchased for the normal museum entry price of £9.
Although the booking is for a specific time slot, entry to the Centre is permitted all day. The Centre is open from 10am to 5pm. Tea, coffee and snacks will be available from our Pac Lunch Shop.
Places are limited. Tickets must be booked in advance. Payment is taken by PayPal immediately. Please print a copy of the receipt that is displayed at the end of the payment process and bring it with you as your e-ticket.
