Before the ZX Spectrum prototype was handed over to Nine Tiles, they needed a rough mock up machine on which to test their code, so a ZX81 keyboard and part circuit board to run the ROMs on was constructed. This would have had 8x 2K Eproms on a separate board which are now missing.

Manufacturer: Nine Tiles
Date: 1981
