Description of Photograph Photograph of two engineers from the original LEO I team, Ernest Lenaerts (right) and Wally Dutton, working on a problem. The photograph was taken by Leo Fantl, one of the programmers in the original LEO team and also a keen amateur photographer. Published in Bird, Peter LEO - The First Business Computer (Wokingham: Hasler, 1994), plate 12. The caption written on the back of the print is in LEO historian Peter Bird's handwriting, indicating the Fantl prints were originally from his collection but were at some point separated before they were given to the archive.
