Research comments: Raising and relaying the floor enables cabling to run between machines. On the wall at the back you can see a wooden jobs board entitled 'LEO TIMETABLE' which was used for planning the order of jobs to run on LEO. Piles of punched cards, and possibly folded paper tape, for each job were stored in the racks on the board. (LM)
