 Home > LEO Computers > Lyons Electronic Office (LEO) Archive > CMLEO/DC - David Caminer Papers > Working Files > LEO Jobs - L2 Teashop Orders > 66770 L2 Teashop Orde ... s - Costs and Charges

Memos and reports about the programming costs and charges involved with the L2 Teashop Orders job [copies belonged to T.R. Thompson].

Research comments: This folder covers a time period from January 1955 to September 1957. The earlier documents relate to the cost savings created by producing the teashop orders for over 150 London teashops on LEO I rather than using human labour. Savings are estimated at around £212 per week (around £3,000 per week today).

The later part of the folder relates to re-programming required in switching the L2 job from LEO I to LEO II. LEO II did not become operational until 1957. (LM)
