Wearable technology is being talked about a lot right now. With the help of some basic electronic components like LEDs and switches, and some sewing skills you can add function, fashion and fun to the clothes, soft toys or something else you regularly use. 

In this session, we will be making an armband fitted with LEDs. With dark evenings already here, the armband will go towards helping you stay safe on the roads. 

This workshop is aimed at children aged 10+.

Please note that all under 14's must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The fee is £20 for workshop participants, whether an adult or a child. Accompanying adults are charged our standard entry fee of £10.

We are still maintaining some Covid precautions to protect our staff & visitors. Hand sanitisers are available throughout the museum. Please wash your hands regularly when using the machines.

Cancellations: We are unable to provide refunds for cancellations in the 14 days prior to the workshop. This is because we will have purchased the kits. However, you are still welcome to collect your kit from the museum during our normal opening hours.
