Get hands-on with Raspberry Pi Pico in this fun workshop. With the Pico, a few wires, LEDs, and buttons you can start controlling the world!

The Pico RP2020 microcontroller is a powerful, efficient, and affordable device capable of all sorts of wonders.  Just connect it to your computer, write some code using Micropython, upload it to the Pico and you’re ready to go!

Recommended for ages 11+.

This workshop session is priced at £15 per participant and includes the entry to the museum!
The cost of the workshop does not include Pi Picos to take home.

For participants under the age of 14, we require an accompanying adult to attend the workshop alongside them. Accompanying adult tickets can be purchased for the normal museum entry price of £10.

This workshop will start promptly at 2pm, so please arrive at least 15 minutes early.

We are still maintaining some Covid precautions to protect our staff & visitors. Hand sanitisers are available throughout the museum. Please wash your hands regularly when using the machines.

Cancellations: We are unable to provide refunds for cancellations in the 14 days prior to the workshop. This is because we will have purchased the kits. However, you are still welcome to collect your kit from the museum during our normal opening hours.
