This was an 80-character-to-a-line bi-directional printer that could take Teletype rolls, or dot matrix paper. The ribbon is cartridge-based, and has Two Day corporation branding. It was capable of printing 60 lines per minute. Electronically, its design was not dissimilar to the Nascom computer, without the video capability.

The control board was similar to a Nascom-1, using a Z80 processor, 1k RAM, 2k ROM , PIO and UART. The PIO was used to control the printer mechanism and the UART provided the RS232 serial interface to the computer. All the printer timing was done by the Z80.

Power is provided by an internal 240V cable. The unit cost £325 in 1980, which was a considerable investment, but printers in the home were rare at this time.
