Jupiter Cantab Ltd was formed by Richard Altwasser and Stephen Vickers in 1982 the former had been on the design team for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, and the latter was a programmer of the BASIC for the machine at Nine Tiles. Jupiter Cantab went into liquidation in 1984 after the failure of their only product, the Jupiter Ace.
