This typically occurs after identifying a failure and determining that an APAR record does not exist for it in the IBM software support data base. It is not intended to enable a DPP user to do in-depth problem diagnosis. The related publication, DFP Diagnosis Guide, LY27-9521, helps diagnosticians to initially identify, describe, report, and resolve DPP failures.
When directed to this book by the diagnosis procedures in the related publication DFP Diagnosis Guide or by the IBM Support Center, the diagnostician uses the reference information herein to gather and interpret failure-related data that supplements any data obtained from the initial failure.
