This book Is intended to help you use Release 4 of MVS/Extended Architecture
Data Facility Product Version 2 with the IBM 3390 Direct Access Storage Device.
It contains:
1. A summary of the characteristics of the new hardware device, and
2. A reference guide showing the changes that will be made in specific publi
cations in the DPP library to support the new hardware device.
The information in this book must not be used for programming purposes.
This book gives only supplemental information and is not a permanent addition
to the OFF library. It is for you to use until the affected DPP publications are
