Susie Visits the Museum ... and stays ..

Today, the museum was extremely fortunate to be able to add the 1967 BCL Susie to our ever growing collection.

Susie stands for Stock Updating and Sales Invoicing Electronically and was produced by British company Business Comupters Limited in Tottenham Court Road, London.

The BCL Susie features a drum store, paper tape reader and punch, IBM golfball typewriter/printer and punch card reader.

It is a fantastic addition to our collection and compliments our other visible records computer : the Philips P354.

Our BCL Susie was very kindly donated by Tony Fairhead who also helped us get this wonderful machine back in one piece and on display ...
