This book introduces the IBM System Display and Search Facility (SDSF). You
should read this book if:
• You make decisions about installing software products
• You are a data processing or executive manager.
SDSF is a licensed program (program number 5665-488) that provides detailed infor
mation about the jobs and resources in an MVS-JES2 system. It is a menu-driven,
full-screen interface to MVS and JES2 that can help your organization efficiently
monitor and control the operation of your system.
This book, SDSF General Information, provides an overview of the functions and
capabilities of SDSF. For detailed information about how to install and maintain
SDSF, see the SDSF Guide and Reference, SC23-0408.
