Released in 1986 under the M.A.D. label, 180 allows you to pit your darting skills against 8 computer players over 3 rounds. In the first two rounds, you will play one of Tactical Tel, Mega Mick, Big Belly Bill, Delboy Des, Limpy Wrist Larry, Sure Shot Sidney or Devious Dave. Get to the final and you will always meet Jammy Jim.

You control a constantly moving, disembodied hand that can be steered in one of the four diagonal directions. You throw the dart by pressing the fire button when the dart tip if over the area you are aiming for. After your 3 darts, your score is chalked up on the scoreboard and the view switches to a side on perspective of a bar where your opponent throws his darts and his score is displayed in text. Each of the opponents has its own animation based on a different caricature of a darts player.

Each round is the best of three legs and the human player always starts the first and third legs. This is vital if you get to the final as Jammy Jim will always hit a 9 dart finish so you must win legs 1 and 3 by hitting 9 dart finishes yourself. Every time you achieve a maximum score, you are rewarded with a digitised voice announcing 180 in the style of a darts scorer.

A two player option is available along with a game of Around the Clock where you have 60 seconds to hit all of the numbers on the board.
