Spectrum 16k/48k RAM/Sinclair ZX Spectrum

First release by the seminal software house Ultimate Play The Game, released alongside the equally brilliant Pssst, these were two game changers, real arcade quality titles for under six pounds.

As is often the case the simple nature of the game is it's draw, piece together a rocket, fill it with fuel, and take off, while using your laser to take care of the inhabitants, one of the best single screen games of all time.

This is the rather rare cartridge version of the game, that cost £14.95, only 11 titles were produced in this format, they were expensive and required the Interface 2 Unit, which had a Sinclair 2 port, not much use with this game, as it was keyboard or Kempston only.

Other manufacturers would produce joystick interfaces that would also have a cartridge port, but they were not on the market for long, especially as the carts could only use a maximum of 16K.
