Shockway Rider (Rack-It)

Home > Browse Our Collection > Software > Sinclair ZX Spectrum > Shockway Rider (Rack-It)

Originally published by Faster Than Light, subsidiary of Beyond Software.

To go "full circle" on the Shockway means a rider must pass through a dozen different districts and face a variety of hazards.

The various hazards (muggers, innocent pedestrians etc.) can be overcome by direct hand-to-hand combat or by a well-aimed bottle or brick, which can be collected from various parts of the Shockway.

Points are awarded for fighting street gangs and muggers, as well as eliminating passers-by. Travelling on the faster lanes is more difficult but gives extra points, and completing a district within the time will give a bonus.
