From Ram Yard to Milton Hilton: Cambridge Consultants the early years Date: 30th September 2010 From Ram Yard to Milton Hilton: Cambridge Consultants the early years

From Ram Yard to Milton Hilton tells the story of Cambridge Consultants Ltd (CCL) from its foundation at 12A Ram Yard, Cambridge to its moving to a new building on the Cambridge Science Park, Milton Road, the ‘Milton Hilton’ of the title. CCL was founded by Cambridge engineer Tim Eiloart, Rodney Dale and others in 1960 as ‘the first independent contract R&D company in the UK’. Now in its 50th year, Rodney Dale revisits the history he wrote for that move in 1979, adding new material to describe the environment into which CCL was born.
