The Acorn FileStore E40S is a hard disc expansion unit for the FileStore E01S. It connects via a 50-way cable to the back of the E01S.

FileStore is a range of standalone, network-attached file and print servers designed specifically for Acorn’s Econet system. The standalone FileStore servers were a development from earlier servers which were BBC Microcomputers with a co-processor running fileserver software. acorn bbc master
