This is one of the early LCD clock style models from Casio. The low power consumption of the display means that the time can be continuously displayed whilst in the watch mode, a switch selects between watch and calculator, the latter also having a stopwatch with lap feature. The switch was eliminated in the later AQ-1500 model which also added date capability but appears to have lost the alarm feature. It is an arithmetic calculator with 8-digit precision and algebraic logic. It has 6 functions, 28 keys and one of the early LCD (liquid crystal) displays which incorporated a yellow filter. The power source is 2x1.5V cell. The calculator was manufactured in Japan. Our calculator was very kindly donated by Francis Hookham.
