The Prism Microproducts VTX 5000 was a modem for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, enabling access to Prestel and Micronet 800 online services.

The modem is designed to sit beneath the Spectrum and connect to its expansion connector via a ribbon cable.

It featured a direct-connect V.23 modem operating at 1200 bps download and 75 bps upload, along with ROM-based terminal software that emulated a 40×24 teletext display on the Spectrum's 32×24 screen.
