In order to obtain the best possible performance from your ARTEMIS system, it is important that suitable routines are established for daily running and for the implementation of necessary management functions. These routines are the responsibility of the System Manager. The aim of the ARTEMIS System Manager's Manual is to provide guidance in the running of the system. Itshould be stressed, however, that the manual isintended as an introductory and reference work. It should be supplementary to, and not a replacement for, training in the management of the ARTEMIS system. Your Metier Customer Support Consultantwill be pleased to arrange suitable training for you. --- Artemis (produced by Metier Management Systems Ltd) is a software tool for project management. It is used in planning big projects (networks) and comes in two flavours: arrow or precedence networks. It runs on an HP1000 mini-computer. These manuals were donated by Nick Gander who worked at Taylor Woodrow Offshore Ltd in Greenford, Middlesex who used a configureation of 3 dumb terminals and the HP1000 between 1982 and 1988 (approx).
