This manual describes the Cray Research, Inc. (CRI) Operator Workstation (OWS). The OWS is a VME-based microcomputer system used for CRAY Y-MP and CRAY X-MP EA computer system operation and monitoring and is intended as a replacement for the I/O Subsystem (IOS) Peripheral Expander. On CRAY-2 computer systems, the OWS has the priviledges of any UNIX station.
