The Burroughs C-3350 desktop calculator was designed in 1967 but was sold into the early 1970s. This calculator dates from the time when calculator electronics were beginning to change, and while most of the C-3350's logic is constructed from discrete transistors and resistor-diode gates, there are small-scale integration silicon ICs also used. Two memory registers are provided based on magnetic core memory. They therefore retain their values when power is turned off. The C-3350 has a 16-digit Nixie tube display. Despite the name on the case, the design and manufacture was actually carried out by Sharp Corporation. It is based on the Sharp Compet 32.
