Enduro is a racing game where the object is to complete an endurance race by overtaking a certain number of cars each day to proceed to the following day. The graphics change from day to night and there is also the occasional change in weather. The player must move a race car side to side in order to dodge other cars, and overtake them. The game progressively becomes more difficult, including icy roads and fog patches. If a player succeeds in racing five days or more, an on-screen trophy appears. When the game was initially released, if a player sent a photograph of this trophy to Activision, they received a patch declaring them an "Activision Roadbuster".
