Originally an arcade game, Reactor was ported to the Atari 2600 by Charlie Heath, the same year it was released as an arcade game. The aim of the game is to cool down a nuclear reactor's core without being pushed into its walls by subatomic particles. As the game progresses, it becomes more difficult as the core grows and pushes the player towards the outer, hazardous walls.
