Super Mario Bros. Movie Poster

A0 size movie poster for the 1993 movie Super Mario Bros. Based on Nintendo's iconic Mario franchise, this live-action movie flopped critically and commercially, but has since gone on to gain a cult following. It is an early example of attempts by the film industry to transfer successful videogame properties to the big screen.

The poster was displayed at the Centre for Computing History in Spring 2016 as part of Lights! Camera! Play!, our exhibition on the relationship between gaming and cinema.
