Action Force II

This is an unusual game, in that the player does not control the onscreen character, but a gunsight. The idea is to protect the soldier, who is working his way up the buildings in the levels. As he climbs up ladders and makes his way along the ledges, he must be protected from enemies that come out of windows and doors, and even pop up from dustbins. Other hazards that must be dealt with are sticks of dynamite, and also a strict time limit, if the soldier is held up from reaching the top of the building, then the time will run out, and the mission will fail. The game scored very highly on release, and is a rare case of a sequel being far superior to the first game in the series.
