This Sinclair ZX81 has close ties with the Sinclair ZX80 8K BASIC machine, both of which arrived at the museum as part of the Nine Tiles collection. It dates from probably just a few months later than the ZX80 8K BASIC machine; however by now it was housed in a ZX81 case with a cutout for easy removal of the BASIC ROM (and probably because it did not fit).

Manufacturer: Sinclair
Date: 1980
