Acorn announces the BBC Master

The BBC Master was the successor to the BBC Micro. Acorn announced the BBC Master at the Which Computer? Show, held from the 14th to 17th January 1986 at the NEC Birmingham.

The BBC Master offered several improvements over the BBC Micro, including more RAM, the ability to load ROMs into 'sideways' RAM, a numeric keypad, ROM cartridge slots, disk support as standard, and of course, it was faster.
