Pat the Postman
Home > Browse Our Collection > Software > Sinclair ZX Spectrum > Pat the Postman |
A completely original title that has no single bearing on a famous children's TV show. Early release from the Mikro Gen label., it is a rather simple maze game where Pat starts and the bottom and runs to a house to collect a parcel, then he has to run to put it on a train. All while avoiding cars racing round the streets, if he gets hit, he is sent back to the bottom, three hits and it's game over. Also if he fails to get a parcel from a house to a train, he will get suspended and it's also game over. Periodically the Post Office catches fire, it is up to Pat to quickly direct the fire engines to put out the flames, while keeping them clear of the cars. The game does have an interesting dynamic, after finishing a game, it will ask if you want another go, if you say no, it clears the memory!
