The BP Energy File is a small database intended for use in teaching. It uses energy data from the BP Statistical Review of World Energy, and national income and population data from the UN Statistical Yearbook. It is updated each year.

This Archimedes version was developed by Alan Hawley of Information Education, Stoke-on-Trent, and Ken Randall of the Computers in Economics Unit at Staffordshire University.
