Description :

Come along to this fun workshop and learn how to create the beginnings of an intruder alarm! This will help to protect your bedrooms from being invaded by parents and siblings!

We will be using the Scratch programming language on a Raspberry Pi to control a Pibrella 'hat' that will sit on the Raspberry Pi. We will start by flashing the LEDs on the Pibrella and then continue to add a buzzer and a tripwire to create a basic intruder alarm!

The session is aimed at children aged 8-11 and is ideal for children at the upper Key Stage 2 level.

The fee is £12 per participant in this workshop. For participants under the age of 14, we require an accompanying adult to attend the workshop alongside them. Accompanying adult tickets can be purchased for the normal museum entry price of £10.
