Description :

Easter’s just around the corner and that means it’s time for an egg hunt! Except, our egg hunt is with a twist.  We won’t be looking for chocolate eggs but digital micro:bit ‘eggs’ hidden around our classroom.  You will code a micro:bit device to be a tracker to help you in the hunt.  micro:bit is a pocket-size codeable device that can be used to teach computing in a fun way.

This workshop is aimed at children aged 8 years and older and is ideal for children at upper Key Stage 2 or Key Stage 3 level.
This workshop session is priced at £15 per participant and includes entry to the museum!
The cost of the workshop does not include micro:bits to take home.
For participants under the age of 14, we require an accompanying adult to attend the workshop alongside them. Accompanying adult tickets can be purchased for the normal museum entry price of £10.
