Description : Come and be introduced to our robot 'staff' member, JNFR! We will be delivering a short talk on Robotics - the past, present and future. This will be followed by a demo that will end with JNFR demonstrating a little Tai-Chi!* The event is on Friday 31st May at 12 pm and will last around 45 minutes. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and play with some of our robots at the end of the session. The event is free (although museum entry charges apply), but booking is recommended to guarantee your place.
This will be open to all general visitors (all welcome but ideally suited to ages 7+). Please note that all under 14's must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Date: Friday 31st May 2024 Time: 12 pm *Tai-Chi depends on her mood, of course! Although the event booking is for a specific time, entry to the Centre is permitted all day. The Centre is open from 10am. Snacks will be available from our Pac-Lunch Shop. There's plenty of seating for parents :) Spaces for these exciting hands-on events are limited, so booking is required to ensure your place. Payment is taken by PayPal immediately. Please print a copy of the receipt that is displayed at the end of the payment process and bring it with you as your e-ticket. Cancellations: Due to the limited number of places available for this event, we are unable to refund tickets when cancelled less than 7 days before the event.
