This book provides the information you need to decide whether to instali ISO Extensions (TSO/E) Release 4. It includes information about the benefits of TSO/E Release 4, the tasks you can perform, how the release is documented, what you must do to prepare for the reiease, and the hardware and software requirements.
Who Should Read This Book? If you are an installation manager or the person at an instaliation responsible for deciding whether to install TSO/E, you should read this book. To make that decision, you need a high-level understanding of the purpose and contents of TSO/E. Ifyou are the system programmer or the technical person who assists in making the decision about installing the new release, you should also read this book. In order to understand the information in this book, you must be technically familiar with TSO/E commands, CLIST statements, CLIST built-in functions, macros, and installation-written exits. You also need to know the purpose and functions of the Information Center Facility and the TSO/E Enhanced Connectivity Facility.
