We're Seeking New Trustee(s)
We are currently seeking at least one new trustee for our Board. We welcome applications from people with a wide range of skills and experience; at this time, we are particularly seeking a trustee with skills and experience in education. Trustees are not remunerated but reasonable expenses can be met. Trustees are appointed for a term of 4 years, extendable for up to 3 terms. CCH is a young, accredited museum based in Cambridge, England, with a growing visitor base and an established and successful learning programme. As a registered charity our trustees have a series of statutory responsibilities and also act as ambassadors for the museum as well as steering the organisation in pursuit of our charitable aims. Individual trustees are expected to use their specific skills, knowledge or experience to help the board of trustees to reach sound decisions for the benefit of all stakeholders. Time commitments: attend Trustee Board meetings (normally held six times per year in Cambridge) and on occasion to promote the museum at events and meetings with key people. Generate and process key documents and papers. New trustees are required to attend an induction process at the museum. Closing Date: ongoing PERSON SPECIFICATION Essential Desirable
