This game is based on the animated television series called The Simpsons. It features an original storyline, written by the writers of the series Tim Long and Matt Warburton. In the game, the Simpsons family discovers that they must participate in a The Simpsons video game. In a similar style to the show, the game makes fun of popular culture, video games and EA (the publisher of the game). The game features the main characters from the TV show: Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie.
