68876 LEO III Engineer's Control Console

Photograph of a LEO III Engineer's Control Console and LEO III circuit boards.

Inscription on reverse: "Engineers' control panel of the LEO III computer. Contents of the store could be displayed in the small cathode tube which the engineer is looking into. The dial above and voltmeter was used for marginal testing. Switches to the left were sometimes used by operators and programmers to 'stack' modified or additional instructions into programmes. The round circular disc was the audible speaker."
